AFX Mega-G+ Short Rolling Chassis

Good runner, even with its stock rubber tires. Its main advantage is an ultra-narrow frame, good for open-wheel Indy/F1 bodies, even though the can motor sits too tall for a perfectly scale formula car. As a child safety precaution, the front wheels aren't removable. That said, the pickup shoes dislocate way too easily due to their very small and shallow tail hook. Once that happens, the spring is quite easily lost and you will need to buy the entire Mega G+ tuneup kit to properly replace these springs as they have a proprietary length and are very low-tension. Other shoe springs - such as Viper’s Mega G+ replacements - tend to push the front wheels off the track surface. The circuit board and ground wire are meant to comply with recent US federal regulations involving broadcast interference (yes, really). The wire can be removed without any effect on performance - something I do for better clearance of BHR formula car bodies. Arguably, the original Mega G was a better design but was short-lived due to AFX’s desire to be FCC compliant.

This chassis is to instantly fast. I'm guessing I need different controllers to run this chassis.
