Imagine driving your choice of two of the world's most famous and fastest cars... The Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Corvette. Now, all the thrill of real racing is brought to life with this scaled down version of the real thing, right in your own home.

It's easy to set up too.

1. Follow the assembly guide and layout your track.

3. Smash down the speed controller to scream down the straightaways, attack the turns and blast across the finish line to victory!

The assembled Auto World Double 8 Racing Layout track layout size is 6.3 x 1.8 ft, and the running length is 14.5 feet. A total of 3 different track layout diagrams are shown on the back of the box to fit your available space and add variety.

The included all-new power supply will allow you to adjust the voltage from 9 to 24 volts. The main benefit of this adjustability is to allow for beginners to start slow and then increase the speed as they improve their driving skills. This Auto World adjustable power supply is rated at 2 amps which is plenty of power to minimize or eliminate any power fluctuations between lanes.

The Thunderjet Ultra-G chassis is Auto World's adaptation of the classic "pancake" design, originally developed by Aurora in the early days of electric slot racing. Auto World expanded the design by adding a Neodymium magnet for better control. Closer to true HO scale (1:87), ThunderJet Ultra-G bodies attach to the chassis using two small screws. The Thunderjet Ultra-G is retro slot racing at its best!

HO scale slot cars measure about 3 inches long x 1.25 inches wide and are about half the size of 1:32 slot cars.

Additional features - compatible with most HO scale slot cars, UL listed power pack, variable speed controllers, easy to assemble & disassemble, smooth track surface and track is 100% compatible with modern Tomy AFX slot car track including the AFX Tri-power pack & hand controllers.

Includes:  2 - ThunderJet slot cars, 1 -15" terminal track, 3 - 15" straights, 4 - 9" straights, 6 - 9" R 90° curves, 4 - 9" R 45° curves, 1 - adjustable voltage AC/DC power pack, 2 - variable speed controllers, 10 - guardrails, 9 - track supports, 50 - track support pillars, 18 - flag poles, sticker sheet, track cleaning pad and instructions.
