Awesome RTR
This is my first crawler and I love it. Very capable out of the box. I took it out to a comp corse with a buddy who is a vanquish snob and even he was impressed with the truck. The first thing he said was “Why did you buy a redcat?” Then he said “I can’t believe that is a redcat.” Since then I’ve put a 1080 ESC on it for better low end control, Proline hyrax tires, some brass beadlocks, and a set of Pit Bull Kronik shocks. This thing just goes and goes. Can’t recommend it enough!

For an out of the box crawler I feel it's a very good truck
The wheel tire combo leaves a lot to be desired, and the esc/ motor aren't very linear, but overall, it's a great crawler for that price point. I've put new wheels and tires and a FOC Hobbywing motor and esc combo on it and it's a whole different truck. Into it about $500 with purchase price and it will crawl with or better than rigs costing over $1000. Glad I took a chance on this one!!!
