Description

This Redcat Racing heavy duty axle housings kit strengthens the Gen8 plastic axle housings and also captures the shock mounting on two sides for both front and rear of the vehicle. If you have been breaking the axle housings on your Gen8 or a Gen7 with the portal axle upgrade, then this is the kit to get!

Includes:  1 - RER11816 heavy duty rear outer portal housing set, 2 - RER11819 portal center gearbox housings, 1 - RER11820 caster mounts, 2 - 3x18mm set screws, 2 - 3x20mm button head screws and 4 - ball studs.

    The As close & look great. They are from Redcat not from BRS but I will say I'm happy with the purchase I made through this company, they had it shipped pretty fast and I'm glad I went thru them with my purchase.

    These axles are much better than stock. I personally don't like metal axles, they don't slide over rocks as easy so these were exactly what I need!

    Parts swapped easily, they work great gave my Gen 8 the ability to transfer power from a 3s lipo perfectly. This is the third heavy duty part upgrade I’ve bought for my Gen 8 from BRS Hobbies and I’m am happy as can be!     They are definitely more robust looking. Extra supports and seem to be thicker. I haven't had them long but I'm happy so far. You do have to reuse your screws to put them together.
