Description

These Viper Scale Racing AFX Mega-G+ MEGA MAGS are upgraded level 42 traction magnets for the AFX Mega-G+ and the original AFX Mega-G HO slot car which come stock with level 30 magnets (higher number = more downforce). The mags are strong and will help your Mega G+ hold the road better. These are a direct factory replacement designed and manufactured specifically for the Tomy AFX Mega G+ and Mega-G platform. Viper also offers level 52 magnets for even more downforce.

Includes:  2 - level 42 traction magnets.

Note:  Recommended for ages 8 to adult.

    I've ordered twice now from BRS and their service has been stellar. Orders have shipped the very next business day and tracking status sent immediately thereafter. Orders arrive as specified with the contents well protected. As for these magnets, they stick like glue to the track! The trick is to get them to go where you want by first sticking them to a small screwdriver first to place in the chassis. As for the Xtraction cars, I wish they had individual parts. Ordering a Pit Kit to replace springs is not economical.

    Awesome product! BRS Hobbies is my new go to for slot stuff. These are much stronger than stock that is for sure however I cannot in good faith say they are better. I have been trying everything I can find to keep my AFX Mega G Plus GT40s from flying off track? So far nothing helps. It is probably my fault somewhere? I think if you have everything dialed these are a great purchase.

    They are easy to install and improve contact with the track immensely! I tested before and after on my Tomy Mega-G+ slot cars and hardly use the brakes now. Highly recommend.
