Description
The Viper V-Spec RTR chassis is a reliable, fast and fully upgradeable HO slot car built with high performance parts. This V-Spec 1.5" (short wheelbase) rolling chassis comes with a standard AFX body clip that fits most AFX sedan style bodies including the Chaparral 2D, Cobra Daytona Coupe and Ford GT40 Mark II. Also, fits most AFX Super G+, Turbo, SRT and Auto World X-Traction full body HO slot car bodies. A Tomy AFX SG+ F1 or Viper Formula V body will snap onto the chassis using the long wheelbase setting without the body clip.
A wide variety of Life Like and Tyco sedan style HO slot car bodies can also mount to this chassis by purchasing the optional Viper Life Like and Tyco body clips.

The Viper V-Spec HO chassis is best driven with a 45 to 60 ohm controller such as the original 8630 Tomy AFX controller (no red lettering on the top of the handle) or the Auto World thumb style controller.

What an amazing slot car and body mounting system
I purchased 3 VSPEC chassis with AFX style clips to replace my awful Auto World XTraction and Flamethrower chassis. With just some oiling and no other mods, these cars immediately set new best dragstrip and race track times, while looking good doing it. After adding LED headlights and painting the wheels, my Auto World Smokey and the Bandit Tran Am, Knight Rider KITT, and 77 blue Trans Am bodies not only look stunning but are the fastest slot cars in my collection now. I'm an old school pancake motor guy that does own some G plus and later Tomy AFX cars. I have two super G plus cars. I bought these on a whim to try out. My track is small on an interior door size wise. I'm impressed with how well this chassis is and is made. Super G plus taken to another level. I've heard the BSRT is supposed to be even better but I don't think you can do much more than what is already done to these. They fit most older AFX bodies really well too which is nice. 5 stars.
