Kadee HO # 58 Scale Metal Couplers (4)

Medium (9/32") Centerset Shank - most popular size. The #58 coupler is the same as the #5 coupler except the head coupler is smaller which is more to scale and is patterned after the type 'E couplers. The Kadee #58 all metal, self-centering coupler will work anywhere a #5, #28, #148 and a #158 Coupler will work. The #5 coupler is a direct replacement for Atlas rolling stock & drops into most “standard” plastic draft gear boxes.

This coupler has the same reliable Magne-Matic and Delayed Action operational features as other Kadee couplers and will function with all Kadee HO permanent and electric, magnetic uncouplers.

The #58 Coupler may be mounted with supplied draft gear box or with manufactures cast-on coupler pockets and is compatible with all the different Kadee HO scale size couplers.

Note:  It is not recommended to use a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gear box to avoid the possible electrical crossover or shorting that may cause damage use the provided insulated draft gear box or the very strong plactic isolated #28 Coupler which has the same mounting dimensions as the #5 Coupler.
