Description
These Q-Jet by AeroTech E26-7W model rocket motors are the correct delay time to be used in place of a D12-5, E9-6, E12-6, E12-8, E16-6 or an E16-8.
Q-Jet™ White Lightning™ rocket motors deliver a brilliant white exhaust plume, dense bright white smoke trail and a throaty roar as the hallmarks of this popular propellant. Easy to track. Exciting to watch!
All Q-Jet™ 2-Motor Launch Packs come complete with FirstFire™ Micro Initiators and bright orange Parachute Recovery Wadding.
Quest Q-Jets are the world's most advanced 24mm model rocket motors. These motors have the same total impulse as the E9 black powder motors and are 68.1% the weight of E9 black powder motors. These motors have 2.2% more total impulse than E12 black powder motors and are 74.9% the weight of E12 black powder motors.
Q-Jet™ high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, ceramic nozzle and RCSs exclusive White Lightning™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces nearly double the specific impulse (or ISP, a propellant efficiency rating) of conventional black powder propellant. They are not susceptible to thermal cycling like black powder motors.
