Viper 8T AFX Mega-G+ Life Like T Pinion Gear

This Viper Scale Racing AFX Mega-G+ 8T pinion gear is compatible with both the AFX Mega-G+ and Life Like T HO slot cars. This pinion gear features a small bore and is only for 1 mm diameter motor shafts.

Want more top speed out of your Mega G+? Viper is the first to make an 8T pinion specifically for the Mega G+ utilizing the can motor and 1 mm shaft. The extra tooth gives you a taller gear ratio, so you get more speed down the straights.

Paired with a 23T crown gear, the 8T runs about a 2.88:1 ratio, compared with about 3.29:1 on the 7T. That makes it a good fit for bigger tracks with long straights, or for hotter motors like the Bandit series that have the power to pull a taller gear. Tighter tracks with lots of corners usually do better with the 7T, which gives you more punch out of the turns.
